The “A Better Way To Build” Video Opens the Future of North American Construction

William Lowery, the President of All Weather Insulated Panels, sees the North American construction industry on the verge of a new way to build. His company is the leader in the manufacture of composite insulated metal panels (IMPs,) products that forge the way in meeting the most stringent environmental regulations while offering high visual appeal.

AWIP’s four-minute video entitled “A Better Way to Build” presents the story of a family-founded and family-run business whose purpose is to offer customers a product that leads to improved energy conservation, lower construction costs with an attractive exterior, thereby giving architects, project managers and building owners the flexibility they demand in their designs.

“Insulated metal panels are better, faster and cheaper, and we’re at the forefront of changing construction in the United States,” said Lowery.

A building with insulated metal panels can reduce a building’s energy cost by two-thirds because IMPs optimize thermal resistance by stopping any gaps where heated or cooled air could escape.

Insulated metal panels make it possible to get the building operational quickly. The speedy assembly of a building employing IMPs brings savings in construction costs and time. These products require far less specialized equipment to install and, due to their self-aligning, tongue-ingroove joints with concealed fasteners, they are a snap to fit together.

“The benefit is seen immediately and pays for itself in securing the thermal envelope of the building (roof and walls) better than traditional building materials,” said Lowery. “Our products are the perfect solution to meet the demands of the future, and they pay for themselves for years and years.”

Meeting  the most demanding environmental standards, IMPs  from AWIP feature a foam composite with Solstice® Liquid Blowing Agent, a hydrofluoro-olefin (HFO) technology that enables closed-cell foam to provide excellent insulating properties. AWIP panels have:

Global Warming Potential (GWP) of 1

Non-flammable (ASTM E-681)

No volatile organic compounds
